How To Use Our Coloring Pages
Turn your construction coloring pages into handmade crafts that bring the job site to life! Here are three ideas that let kids get creative while learning more about the big machines at the worksite.
Construction Vehicle Mobiles
Print images out at 30-40% their original size. Color then cut out your finished construction vehicles. Glue string to the back of your vehicles. Hang the vehicles from a branch or upcycle and old ruler to create a construction-themed mobile that’s fun to hang in a bedroom or playroom.
DIY Construction Puppets
Glue your cut-out dump truck, construction worker, and excavator onto popsicle sticks to create puppets. Use them for imaginative play or put on a puppet show!
Construction Tool Belt
Create a reusable construction tool belt! Start with a strip of fabric or felt to form the belt. Cut out the tools from your coloring page. Attach Velcro dots to the back of each tool. Stick the matching Velcro dots onto the front of the belt. Now, you can add and remove the tools as you play, making it a fun, interactive accessory for your little builder!
