How To Use Our Coloring Pages

Turn your finished cow coloring pages into fun, educational projects and simple decor ideas. These easy crafts are perfect for kids to learn, play, and display their artwork in creative ways around the house or in the classroom.

“C is for Cow” Learning Board

Use the “C is for Cow” coloring page for this craft. Mount the page onto construction paper or cardboard. Invite the kids to choose from a selection of objects that start with the letter C to add to the board. Like cotton balls (for cow spots!), comb, coin, and car. Use glue dots, double-sided tape, or Velcro dots to hold objects in place on the board. This educational activity is great for preschoolers working on letter sounds and recognition.

Farmyard Garland

Color and cut out several cows—realistic, doodle, or cartoon styles all work. Punch holes in the cut-outs. Then, string them together with yarn or twine to create a cute farm-themed garland. Hang it across a window, wall, or classroom bulletin board. This would be a great classroom project for the class to make together. This would make a fun classroom project, with each student coloring a cow to contribute to the decoration.

Moo-Vable Cow Craft

Color and cut out a cow from your favorite page. Then cut out the head, legs, body, and tail as separate pieces. Use brass fasteners to reattach the parts so they can move. It becomes a fun, interactive way for kids to play while learning about animal movement.

Cow Comparison Activity

After coloring different cow pages, have kids compare the cows by identifying similarities (ex: both have spots) and differences (ex: one is wearing flowers). Talk about these ideas using the terms “Similarities” and “Differences.” This activity helps children develop their critical thinking and language skills.
