For this Easter bunny page, I wanted to subdue my palette and add some varying degrees of texture, but I didn’t have a lot of time to spend on picking out the perfect brushes and colors. So I opted to get the effect using an image of paper. The paper’s natural texture will give me the aged look I wanted in just a few taps on my iPad. Here’s how to do it: You can see a close up of the effect. The left side shows the image with the paper texture added. The right side shows the image with no added texture. I really like how the paper quickly adds a variation to my colors. Both are fun! But it’s certainly nice to have options!
